Neomycin

Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat localized bacterial skin infections, reduce gut bacteria before intestinal surgery, and help manage symptoms of hepatic encephalopathy or hepatic coma. It works by halting bacterial protein synthesis.
